Memorial & Commemorative Bricks

Elliot Lake's uranium miners often risked their lives everyday to support the community and their families.

To honour their sacrifices, granite bricks are available to purchase for anyone who wishes to enshrine their loved ones' name as a permanent feature of the Miners' Memorial Park.

Purchasing Criteria

• Any person (living or deceased) who worked in any capacity for one of the Elliot Lake mines, while they were in operation, is eligible to be featured on a brick
• The purchase of a brick ($150, tax included) is considered a donation to the City of Elliot Lake's Miner's Memorial Park and a tax receipt will be issued by The City Of Elliot Lake 
• Names will be confirmed and approved by the Elliot Lake Museum; proof of employment at an Elliot Lake mine camp may be required
